Zionsville: Step Into Your Own Hallmark Movie

I've spent the last few days down in beautiful Zionsville, Indiana (about 30 minutes from Indianapolis) researching two stunning structures: a folk build home and an old church recently purchased to be turned into a dream home. I assumed from the photos online that Zionsville would be just another small town. A post office, a restaurant, a few shops. Nothing out of the ordinary. I don't think I could have been more wrong. We arrived downtown to a brick-paved main street lined with perfectly kept storefronts, fairy-lights over doorways, and the most adorable downtown homes. Despite the fact that it was 10pm on a Sunday, there were several people out and about: a man on a nightly jog, a woman walking her Pomeranian, a young family eating ice cream cones on their porch. I began to wonder if I was in Zionsville or the set of a Hallmark movie.

We were lucky enough to stay at the historic Brick Street Inn right on Zionsville's Main Street. Built in 1865, this charming bed and breakfast sits right in the middle of downtown. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms were cozy, and the staff was wonderful. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Stay tuned for more posts as I complete more research on these gorgeous Zionsville homes! In the meantime, book your stay in Zionsville and go live your own little Hallmark dream.
